My current service includes community historical preservation efforts where I focus on foodways, language, culture documentation and survivance. I am a founding member and current secretary of HoMinti Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting cultural awareness, service, community organizing, and education. I was honored to serve as an elected leader on the Choctaw-Apache Community of Ebarb tribal council (2011-2014),  to work on various committees (2010-2022), and to be master of ceremonies (MC) for the children’s powwow at Ebarb community (K-12) public school and Arena Director for the Fall and Spring Powwows.  I have been a substitute teacher (K-12) in Sabine Parish Schools. I have been recognized for my leadership and service contributions at university honor awards ceremonies and am a member of Golden Key International Honor Society and Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society.
